A collaborative effort, RGB designed a 38,500 square foot research and training institute on Narragansett Bay for the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography.

The facility included Marine Geological Samples Laboratory, Remote Sensing Laboratory, Ocean Mapping Development Center, Paleomagnetics Laboratory, Marine Aquarium Facility, Equipment Development Laboratory, and Lecture and Teaching Facilities.
