Saint Joseph Hospital

RGB has provided near in-house capabilities for the Saint Joesph Hospital over multiple projects. These include the design of a small Outpatient and Involuntary Treatment Unit, the redesign and renovation of the fourth floor, and the complex Neuro Behavior Unit and the Outpatient Rehabilitation Units. RGB maintained a strong relationship with the hospital medical, clinical, and administrative staffs.

The Intensive Care/Critical Care Unit was an award winning project at St. Josephs Hospital for Specialty Care. It is just one of many excellent projects designed and completed by RGB for the non-profit St. Joseph Health Services of Rhode Island.

The multi-million dollar renovation and redesign of the nursing units on three floors of the existing Bishop McVinney Pavilion required the design team to skillfully integrate a new central heating and air conditioning system, new windows and new electronic call and code systems into the expanded programming elements of the interior design. RGB seamlessly melded modern hospital and engineering technology into the existing 1950s era building while providing clean yet inviting rooms and spaces for the hospital staff and their patients.
