Museum of Work and Culture

Woonsocket, Rhode Island

As an adaptive re-use of the historic First Woonsocket Rubber Company mill building in the heart of Woonsocket’s Market Square, the Museum of Work and Culture project boosted the surrounding area. Designed in conjunction with Christopher Chadborne and Associates, the vibrant museum established the building within the context of the Rhode Island Historical Society. The museum worked in concert with the Stadium Theater, another RGB project, to establish Woonsocket's Main Street as a cultural center.
