Villa at Saint Antoine Rehabilitation Center

The Villa at Saint Antoine is an assisted living community located in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. RGB designed a new addition to the Villa that provides rehabilitation areas. The rehabilitation area design features an Easy Street rehabilitation environment. The Easy Street concept in medical, physical, and cognitive rehabilitation incorporates real-world obstacles, such as curbs, steps, ramps, slopes, and turnstiles. The project also creates a new entryway to the building to provide easy outpatient access to this rehabilitative care. Construction began in the Summer of 2014 and the facility opened early in 2015. The project supports the rehabilitative work at St. Antoine and is important to the lives of those affected as often they are literally striving to get back on their feet after an injury.
