RGB conducted Building Enclosure Forensic and Remediation design for the Trumbull Building, an existing 1850s mass stone wall historic structure. Building Enclosure Forensic and Remediation design pertained to an existing 2005 brick veneer cavity with CMU backup at the Atwood Building. Design was based on historic brick factory detail in a historic district.

Through non-invasive observations, RGB discovered numerous construction defects that were allowing or contributing to ongoing water infiltration during both typical and atypical rain storm events. RGB provided forensic invasive investigations to determine and develop remediation detail designs to resolve significant moisture infiltration through the exterior building enclosure and fenestration openings.

RGB provided litigation support for the primary expert witness and provided cost analysis and claims remediation cost documentation.

RGB then acted as Owner's Project Manager for the remediation mockup phase construction, performing trade contractor procurement and evaluating installation work.
