Scalabrini Villa

North Kingstown, Rhode Island

Situated on a scenic overlook with expansive views of Narragansett Bay, Scalabrini Villa is an expansive health care center providing long- and short-term care, rehabilitation, respite care, Alzheimer, and hospice services. RGB created a master plan and certificate of need study which led to the design and construction of a new facility. The facility incorporated the latest engineering and equipment technology and patient care design doctrine inside a traditional building that responds to the vernacular of coastal architecture. The project also included the restoration of a second empire revival mansion.
