Interlink at T.F. Green Airport

Warwick, Rhode Island

Spanning the upper and lower access roads to the main terminal at T.F. Green Airport, metropolitan Providence's hub, the 1,200-foot, elevated and enclosed steel and glass bridge acts as a symbolic gateway for travelers coming to and leaving Rhode Island.

More than a bridge, the Interlink skywalk includes a new vertical transportation atrium from the terminal building to the glass enclosed elevated horizontal pedestrian corridor that terminates in a vertical enclosure down to short-term parking, rental car customer service center, and MBTA passenger service.

The design echoes both the gracefully sloped wing of an airplane and the roof of the main terminal, while giving departing passengers a vista across the bustling runways.
