Cumberland High School Wellness Center

The Town of Cumberland High School was in need of modernization, utilization reconfiguration, and enlargement. RGB analyzed programming for the existing gym and auditorium spaces in order to accommodate updated equipment and programs for theater, music, and art as part of a three-phase master plan. RGB assisted the Town in compiling information and documentation for its successful application to the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) for construction financial aid. The new 37,000 square foot Wellness Center, updated exterior facades, ADA code analysis and compliance, contemporary finishes, and redesigned interiors impart the school and its students with supportive and engaging environments appropriate to expanding educational programs.
