Chapel View Common Areas

Cranston, Rhode Island

The client wished to provide a welcoming aesthetic for the tenants of this building. RGB was tasked with updating the entry stairway and lobby, the corridors, and the public toilet rooms.

The main entry stair and lobby were fitted out with porcelain tile floors and stair treads. A railing system with glass was installed. Railings with a metallic silver paint mimicked brushed aluminum rails.

Natural stone veneer panels, wood wainscot, and chair rails added spectacular texture and color to the space. Wrought iron decorative lighting blended with the surrounding buildings and maintained an old world theme.

Public toilet rooms were taken to a new level with wood grain partitions to add warmth to the stark white tile floors and white walls. Natural jade mosaic tile at the vanity gave elegance and an unexpected texture. An accent wall of jade green wall covering complemented the mosaic tile wall. A solid quartz composite vanity top provided durability and ease of maintenance.
