Bridgham Manor

Providence, Rhode Island

A historic structure in need of repair, Bridgham Manor, located in the Broadway Armory Historic District of Providence, posed a unique challenge. Completed in 2008, the $1.5 million restoration included repair to the existing masonry, cast stone architectural details, EIFS wall system, and flashing. All of the repair and replacement was done per Rhode Island Historic Preservation and Heritage Commission guidelines and through their approval process. The Manor's elderly residents remained in residency during construction and great care was taken to minimize disruption throughout the 34,000 square foot manor.
